After 20+ games with no cash, I finally broke through again.
I was so sure that I was going to just give up and stop playing for the love of my sanity and bankroll, and I was going to finish the last game up and do just that. However, I managed to make the final table. After that, my goal was just to cash (yeah, I know, scared money). Once I cashed, it was like a huge relief. I could finally play my game without the monkey on my back of going so long without a cash.
It was so surreal. Once I cashed, I knew I was going to win. And win is what I did. I have now won half of the games in which I've cashed, which I honestly think is a pretty reliable statistic, even for such a small sample size.
So, even though I'm not where I want to be, I feel much better about everything. I can rest easy tomorrow (and I seriously am going to try to not play, lol) and enjoy my dad's birthday.
